SALARY: £36,575 - £52,067

Sarah Champion MP is seeking to recruit a Senior Policy Researcher to join her Westminster Team and lead on both her Parliamentary and International Development Select Committee (IDC) work.

You must be able to work independently, overseeing all aspects of Sarah’s parliamentary work and be able to demonstrate clear policy and campaign goals. The successful candidate must also be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and research skills, strong written and verbal communication, a good understanding of writing to different audiences, be media savvy and have a near obsession for detail and accuracy. Additionally, they must have proven experience of dealing with multiple projects with tight deadlines, simultaneously, along with proven experience of managing a small team.

 

The ideal candidate would also have an in-depth knowledge of international development, human rights, women’s rights, social justice and/or child protection. They would understand how Parliament operates and how to use that to make positive change through policy, media, and campaigns.
