To mark Safer Internet Day on Tuesday 9th February 2021, Sarah Champion, MP for Rotherham, has updated her Dare2Care website. The site provides tools to help keep children safe from abuse. It provides support on how to talk to children about healthy relationships and online safety, and information on how to spot the signs of, and how to report, relationship violence and online abuse.

Crisis in dentistry

Following the breakdown in talks between NHS Dentists and the General Dental Practice Committee, the Government imposed activity targets which require dental practices in England to hit 45% of their pre-pandemic levels. In order for NHS dentists to reach this target, the cross-party group of MPs argues that patient footfall of non-urgent cases will need to increase substantially, unnecessarily risking the health of dental staff and patients alike.

SEXUAL EXPLOITATION AND ABUSE IN THE AID SECTOR RIFE

Sarah Champion, MP for Rotherham and Chair of the International Development Select Committee, will lead a debate in Parliament today following the publication of her committee’s report, “Progress on tackling exploitation and abuse of aid beneficiaries”.
