Sarah Champion MP Launches Rotherham Bus Survey

In collaboration with the Rotherham Advertiser, Sarah Champion, Member of Parliament for Rotherham, has launched a new survey to hear Rotherham residents’ experiences of the towns bus services.

Sarah is seeking residents’ views on the service, having received an increasing number of complaints in recent months about the reliability and punctuality of buses, as well as about changes to bus routes.

Commenting on the survey, Sarah said:

“As Rotherham’s MP, it is really important for me to hear about people’s day to day experiences of our transport networks.’

‘More and more people have come to me with complaints about Rotherham buses and I want to understand the nature and scale of the problem.’

‘This survey is a simple way for people to share their views with me and will be really helpful for me in challenging SYPTE to deliver the service Rotherham needs and deserves.“

Sarah continued:

“Strong public transport links are vital for our local economy and to help encourage people to leave their cars behind to tackle pollution and climate change.’

‘I hope that as many people as possible complete the survey and help me to fight for the service Rotherham deserves.”

The survey runs until 6th March and can be found at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/CN5KR79
