Sarah Champion calls on the Government to standardise taxi legislation

As a member of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Taxis, I have written to the Secretary of State for Transport, Chris Grayling MP, with cross party colleagues to call on the Government to make sure taxi legislation is standardised across the Country. I’m proud that Rotherham is leading the way in taxi licensing standards, but it’s unfair to Rotherham drivers that unscrupulous cabs from other areas can practice here without the same level of scrutiny.
