Have you helped reduce poverty in your community?
If so, I encourage you to apply for the Paul Goggins MP Memorial Prize. The prize of £3,000 will be given jointly by the All-Party Political Group on Poverty and the Webb Memorial Trust to the best civil society initiative that can demonstrate it has reduced poverty in a tangible way. The prize is open to organisations, projects or individuals with innovative and engaging ideas. Your submission can take any form, and creative ways of expression are particularly encouraged, with photographs, videos and other visual supporting evidence warmly welcomed.
Entries must be submitted to my office before Thursday 2nd October 2014 and if your project is shortlisted, I will present it at an awards ceremony in Parliament, hosted by the Speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow.
