Sarah Champion MP is looking for someone who is passionate about politics and making positive change to lead her Westminster team. You will head up campaigns, coordinate Sarah’s social media presence and manage a small but busy team. The role will involve conducting research, providing briefings, giving advice, line managing colleagues and general admin support. You should have strong interpersonal skills and be confident meeting visitors and representing the MP in meetings.
Experience of working in Parliament or a political environment is desirable.
Please note this role will include evening and/or weekend work from time to time as agreed with the MP.
Upon appointment you will be required to apply for security clearance, undertaken by the Security Vetting and Pass Office. See Members’ Staff Security Clearance page for further info. MPs generally pay staff in accordance with IPSA guidelines.
